Another shot of the ice in Versoix from the other morning.
I went down early to get some photos of the cars and trees covered in ice that have been seen in the news recently due to the freezing temperatures in Europe right now.
Just nearby is this small jetty for the ferry, which was also covered in ice and someone had placed a mannequin with a small toy dog looking out over the lake. At first I thought it was real and wondered why someone would take a dog that small there, but after a few seconds realized they were both fake.
It was pretty hard to get decent photos that day as the spray from the lake kept hitting the front of my lens and freezing instantly, so I had to keep trying to take it off every few minutes. Hopefully I can get back there in a few days when it's not so windy to get some better photos.
