I walked up to one of my favourite views nearby of the Alps today to take some photos aiming to capture another panorama, and spent a little over an hour there. The view was perfectly clear without a cloud in the sky, and just a hazy level below the moutains which normally seems to occur in the colder months.
This picture was made using 13 photos taken with a 100-400 L lens, a Lee .6 ND Grad filter and a Lee Graduated Blue filter. After merging the pictures in Photoshop I cropped it to focus on Mt. Blanc and sharpened it slightly. I'm really happy with how the colours came out in this from using the filters, and am going to try and order a large print of this soon.
