Description
After seeing some photos of the cars and trees covered in ice, I decided to go down to Versoix to take some photos myself. I got up early to try and avoid the majority of the people, and got there just as it was getting light.
It probably wasn't the best time to go as the wind was very strong, and was at least -11, so my camera, lens, and tripod kept getting covered in ice, making taking photos hard as it was almost impossible to keep the front of the lens clear.
By the end my bag was coated in ice which I couldn't get open for about an hour, and the back of my jacket and trousers were frozen solid, but I came out with a few decent shots. Hopefully I'll be going back in a few days when the wind dies down.
